Day 3~
Learn the latin binomial + folk names of your plant ally.
In participating in this challenge, these types of things are exactly what I was hoping to learn and discover about my chosen plant ally. Leaning already!
Latin: Taraxacum Officinale
Common: Dandelion
- Derived from French "Dent De Lion" meaning Lions Tooth noting the deep teeth on the green leaves.
Folk and other common names: Blowball, Puffball, Swine Snout, Cankerwort, Wild Endive, Priests Crown, Lions teeth, Fairy Clock, Piss-a-Beds.. WHO KNEW!?
