I'm overwhelmed by the positive feedback and response I've gotten from friends since I joined Beauty Counter as a consultant last month. Didn't expect those first few sales so early but I certainly appreciate them! Counter + Lotus Glow Cleansing Balm - It truly is a multi-tasker extraordinaire. After hearing about it for years, when my friend signed up as a consultant, I was finally ready to try it!  This product is what sold me on the entire brand.

Countertime Radiance Serum - Made with a safer, plant based, Retinatural Complex! (The Countertime line is Beauty Counter's answer to aging gracefully - not "Anti' aging - because it is a privilege to grow old!). If you had to make one swap, and are currently using an anti-aging product that contains the potentially harmful Retinol, THIS would be my biggest suggestion (and the entire Countertime Line of course).

Why Beauty Counter?

THIRTY.  Meanwhile, the European Union has over 1400 ingredients restricted from use personal care products! 

Beauty Counter is making huge waves and doing so much for the safer skincare movement. I'm so proud to be affiliated with this organization!

I realize I have some family and friends who follow(ed) my blog whom aren't on social media so you may have missed my little announcement on partnering with Beauty Counter!

Here's the backstory:

Most people close to me will tell you I have advocated for safer food choices, household cleaning and personal care products since before it was cool.

After using and loving several Beauty Counter items for over 6 months, taking the next step and becoming a consultant was obvious to me.

If you use any individual Beauty Counter product they will sell themselves, but this company’s advocacy and commitment to making a change in the beauty industry is what really sold me.

The European Union has banned over 1400 chemicals in cosmetics to date while the US has banned only 30. THIRTY. Beauty Counter currently has over 1500 harmful or questionable ingredients banned from their products. See the #NeverList. Did you know the FDA doesn’t even have authority to recall a cosmetic?? We're working on changing that. #BeautyCounter also helped pass the latest reef safe sunscreen ban! This company is committed to clean beauty and that is something that I can get behind.

I wear minimal make up so I was mostly about the skincare products. But when I do want to spiff it up for a date night (or our upcoming wedding!) I want the peace of mind in knowing I’m making the best decision for my health while not sacrificing the quality in my cosmetics!
